Part of the Grid series, this incense holder is carved from solid aluminium into a precise lattice structure. The form is pared back and architectural, balancing openness with weight. It is conceived as a small object of utility: deliberate, quiet, and materially direct.
A single incense stick sits within the grid, while the linear recess below catches falling ash, keeping the surface beneath undisturbed. The geometry allows air to move freely around the stick.
The surface is left milled, retaining subtle traces of the machining process. These fine marks register its production, introducing texture and light variation across the aluminium. Compact in scale, it is suited to desks, shelves, and bedside tables, where it brings a measured presence rather than ornament.
