The Willow Floor Lamp is conceived as a vertical, botanical object: tall, calm, and lightly ornamental rather than sculptural for its own sake. It draws from the quiet presence of willow trees in meadow landscapes. Upright growth, gentle irregularity, and a softness that sits in balance with structural clarity.
Designed as a floor-standing light, it feels domestic and settled rather than monumental. Its slender powder-coated steel structure supports a softly diffusing cotton shade, casting a warm, ambient glow that integrates naturally into a room, becoming part of its rhythm rather than its focal point. The cotton shade is finished with a softly torn edge, allowing the material to remain open and tactile. The rawness of the fabric introduces a subtle irregularity, softening the geometry of the form and lending the light a quiet, human quality.
Supplied complete and ready for use, the lamp includes two light bulbs selected to suit local standards, allowing it to be lived with immediately rather than finished later. A 2-metre cable with an inline foot switch supports everyday use, quietly receding into the background as the light comes forward.
